Ludhiana, Nov 8
In Ludhiana, a woman, with the help of her lover, brutally murdered her husband due to an illicit affair. After the murder, they dumped the body in a vacant plot. The incident came to light late at night when a passerby noticed the bloodied body and informed the police. Upon receiving the information, Sadar police station officers arrived at the scene, conducted an investigation, and sent the body for post-mortem.
According to the police, the deceased, Pawan Kumar (38), was living with his wife in a rented house on Gill Road and was originally from Udaipur village in Balrampur district, Uttar Pradesh. A driver by profession, Pawan had discovered his wife’s illicit relationship with one of her relatives, leading to frequent arguments between the couple.
It is alleged that the woman conspired with her lover to eliminate Pawan and killed him with a sharp weapon. To dispose of the body, they dumped it in a vacant plot.
Sub-Inspector Tarsem Singh, in charge of the Marado police outpost under Sadar police station, stated that the police have detained Pawan’s wife and her lover, Rajan, though an official arrest confirmation has not yet been made. The investigation is ongoing, and further details will emerge based on the post-mortem and other evidence.
