Bollywood actor Vikrant Massey shocked his fans with his surprise retirement announcement, revealing he would take a step back from films. However, a director who has worked closely with the actor shared the possible reasons behind his sudden decision.
According to the director, Vikrant is overwhelmed with numerous offers from OTT platforms and films, but he fears overexposure might tire out his audience. He believes taking a break and recalibrating could help him return with renewed energy when the time is right. This move could be a strategic decision to reinvent himself, possibly preparing for a new role, such as the negative lead in the upcoming Don movie from Excel Entertainment.
Vikrant, in a heartfelt Instagram post, expressed his gratitude to fans and shared his personal journey. He wrote, “The last few years have been phenomenal. But it’s time to recalibrate. Coming 2025, we will meet again. Until then, thank you for everything.” His recent appearance was in The Sabarmati Report, and he has other projects lined up.
