Two Workers Charred to Death, Three Injured in Textile Factory Fire in Panipat

Panipat (Haryana), December 6:

A devastating fire at a textile factory in Balana village of Panipat district resulted in the deaths of two workers and left three others severely injured. The incident occurred late last night.

The victims have been identified as 34-year-old Taslim from Shiv Nagar in Panipat and 30-year-old Sumit, also known as Mama, from Kohal village in Kaithal district. The bodies have been sent to the Civil Hospital for postmortem.

The injured individuals, Farukh, Jagir, and Kabil, were first taken to NC Medical College in Israna and later referred to PGIMS-Rohtak for further treatment. They all resided on the factory premises.

According to reports, the fire broke out at Shiv Fabricate Private Limited in Balana village around 12:30 am. The flames quickly spread, engulfing the entire factory and destroying machinery, raw materials, and finished products.
