Punjab, February 5:
The Punjab government has appointed two senior IAS officers with additional responsibilities to improve the state’s administrative efficiency and governance.
Tejveer Singh, a 1994-batch Punjab cadre IAS officer, who is currently serving as the Additional Chief Secretary (ACS) for Local Government, has now been entrusted with the additional role of ACS for Investment Promotion. He will continue overseeing ACS for Industries & Commerce and ACS for Information Technology.
Kamal Kishor Yadav, a 2003-batch Punjab cadre IAS officer, who serves as the Administrative Secretary for School Education, has been given the additional charge of Administrative Secretary for Technical Education & Industrial Training. He will also maintain his responsibilities for Higher Education & Languages.
These appointments are expected to further strengthen governance and enhance the state’s administrative efficiency.
