Mumbai Police in collaboration with Punjab Police has achieved a major success. Sujit Sushil Singh, wanted in the high-profile murder case of Baba Siddiqui, has been arrested in a joint operation of both the police forces. Sujit is accused of being involved in a murder conspiracy.
According to police officials, Sujit was informed about the murder plan by another accused Nitin Gautam Sapre three days ago. Sujit also provided logistics support in carrying out the conspiracy. According to sources, an attempt was made to carry out this murder conspiracy in a very planned manner, but due to the prompt actions of the police, timely action could be taken.
Mumbai Police has taken Sujeet into custody from Punjab Police and started further investigation. Mumbai Police tweeted that united in our commitment for seamless cooperation, Punjab and Mumbai Police have successfully executed an interstate operation.
