Punjab, December 30:
Today, a bandh has been called in Punjab. The Samyukt Kisan Morcha (Non-political) and Kisan Mazdoor Sangharsh Morcha have announced a statewide bandh from 7 AM to 4 PM, causing significant inconvenience to travelers and drivers. Most highways in Punjab have been blocked, but there has been no impact on Chandigarh and Haryana’s capital.
However, travelers heading from Chandigarh to Delhi and Haryana are facing difficulties, as farmers have blocked the highway between Ambala and Chandigarh, particularly at Lalru, Dera Bassi, and Zirakpur, which has completely disrupted the movement of vehicles.
If you need to travel from Chandigarh to Delhi or Haryana, you can use these alternative routes, where there will be no traffic jams. Additionally, a new route has been devised for those traveling from Delhi to Chandigarh.
Alternative Route from Chandigarh to Delhi:
Drivers can take the route from Chandigarh via Panchkula, Ramgarh, Shahzadpur, Mulana, Yamunanagar, Radaur, Ladwa, Indri, Karnal, Panipat, and Sonipat to reach Delhi. Although the journey may take a little longer, there will be no traffic jams on this route.
Alternative Route from Ambala to Chandigarh:
