Panic created at Chandigarh airport due to information about bomb in flights, plane taken into isolation

Information about bombs in flights continues to arrive. On Friday, there was panic at Shaheed Bhagat Singh International Airport, Chandigarh after the information of bomb in five flights of the country. These five flights included Hyderabad to Chandigarh flight number 6E108 and Chandigarh-Ahmedabad flight number 6E112.

After which senior officials of Mohali Police, CISF and Airport Authority reached the spot and cordoned off the airport and checked it. During this, the bags and other luggage of all the passengers were checked by the security agencies.

The officials did not find anything during the checking. Airport officials say that a message had come on the X account of Indigo Airlines that there was a bomb in the Indigo flight, in which the names of these two flights to Chandigarh were included.

Flight taken in isolation after landing

After receiving a bomb threat on the flight, as soon as the Hyderabad-Chandigarh flight landed at the airport, the security agencies took the flight into isolation. There were more than 150 passengers on board this flight, after which Mohali Police and CISF personnel checked the luggage of each passenger. After this the entire flight of Indigo Airlines was checked. During this time the passengers had to wait for about 3 hours. No one was allowed to go out until the entire investigation was completed.

Hyderabad flight landed at 10.48 am
Flight number 6E108 coming from Hyderabad to Chandigarh landed at Shaheed Bhagat Singh International Airport at 10.48 am, after which it was taken under security cover. Along with this, flight number 6E112 from Chandigarh to Ahmedabad took off at 11.58 pm. Officials said that it was isolated as soon as it reached Ahmedabad and the passengers were released only after checking.

These flights received threats
Six other IndiGo flights – 6E 2099 (Udaipur to Delhi), 6E 11 (Delhi to Istanbul), 6E 58 (Jeddah to Mumbai), 6E 17 (Mumbai to Istanbul), 6E 108 (Hyderabad to Chandigarh) and 6E 133 (Pune Received threat from Jodhpur.
