Cyclone ‘Dana’ can hit Odisha coast any time. According to the Meteorological Department, it will make landfall between Bhitarkanika and Dhamra. The wind speed at the time of landfall will be 100-120 kmph. Its outbreak will also be seen in Jagatsinghpur district. The sea has become rough in the middle of Paradeep and Chandrabhaga, Puri sea including Kendrapada Rajganar. In such a situation, Section 144 has been imposed on various beaches as a precautionary measure. Apart from this, restrictions have been imposed on the beaches from Paradip to Erasama Siali.
