A gunfight broke out early Monday in the Akhnoor sector near the Line of Control (LoC) as security forces clashed with terrorists during a search operation in Bhattal, Khour, according to officials. The operation was initiated after three terrorists fired on an Army ambulance near Assan temple in Jogwan, reportedly striking it with over a dozen bullets. No casualties have been reported so far. Reinforcements have been deployed to neutralize the terrorists, believed to have crossed into Jammu the previous night. Authorities state the terrorists initially sought a mobile phone at the temple before targeting the passing ambulance.
