A new agreement has been reached between India and China regarding patrolling on LAC. The Foreign Ministry issued a statement on Monday giving this information.

On the question of bilateral talks with Chinese President Xi Jinping, Foreign Secretary Vikram Misri said, diplomatic and military talks have been taking place between India and China for the last several weeks.

He said, we have an agreement with China on LAC issues. Patrolling arrangements have been made for withdrawal of troops and resolution of the situation. On the bilateral issue, we are still working according to time and commitments.
