Haryana, January 11:
In Haryana, Chief Minister Nayab Saini chaired an important meeting regarding security measures and addressed the media afterward. He stated that the state government will introduce new legislation to control illegal immigration, which will be presented during the upcoming budget session.
The Chief Minister further mentioned that the state government will soon launch an “On Reward Performance (ORP)” policy to encourage police officers who perform well in crime prevention. This policy will reward good performance while ensuring strict action against those showing negligence. He also noted that crime rates in Haryana have significantly decreased, with a reduction in crimes against women in 2024 compared to the previous year. Additionally, the state has made notable progress in combating cybercrime.
CM Saini Grants Full Authority to Haryana Police
Chief Minister Nayab Saini emphasized that Haryana Police has been given a free hand to take stringent action against crime and criminals. He also set the goal of intensifying the anti-drug campaign and ensuring that 70% of the villages are drug-free by the end of 2025.
Moreover, CM Saini sharply criticized the Aam Aadmi Party and defended the government’s policies, highlighting the steps being taken for the state’s development.
