Ambala, February 13:
A car driver in Ambala lost his way due to incorrect directions on Google Maps, leading his vehicle to climb over a barricade near the Shambhu border.
According to reports, the incident took place at night when the driver was following Google Maps for navigation. Suddenly, he encountered cement barricades on the road, and before he could react, the car got stuck on them. Fortunately, the driver escaped unhurt.
Notably, due to the ongoing farmers’ protest, a cement barricade has been placed about 200 meters before the Shambhu border to restrict vehicles coming from Delhi. However, Google Maps has not yet marked this route as closed, which led to the mishap. The driver, relying solely on GPS directions, unknowingly took the blocked road and ended up crashing into the barricades.
