Sharing is caring!

New Delhi, January 10:

With the announcement of voting for the 70 seats of the Delhi Assembly on February 5, political activities have gained momentum. For the Aam Aadmi Party (AAP), this election holds significant importance, not just for Delhi but also for Punjab, as AAP began expanding its political presence in Punjab after establishing its government in Delhi.

As a result, AAP is now focusing its full attention on the Delhi Assembly election campaign. To intensify its efforts, 352 party leaders from Punjab will soon camp in Delhi to participate in the campaign. Many cabinet ministers from Punjab have already started their promotional activities. Following the municipal elections in Punjab next week, AAP Punjab President Aman Arora is also expected to join the campaign.

CM Bhagwant Mann to Actively Participate

Punjab Chief Minister Bhagwant Mann recently arrived in Delhi and met with party chief Arvind Kejriwal and the Chief Election Officer. He is set to take on an active role in the campaign soon. According to party leaders, after January 20, CM Mann will hold regular rallies across Delhi Assembly constituencies. Additionally, roadshows featuring both Mann and Kejriwal will also be organized to bolster the campaign.

Cabinet Ministers Join the Campaign

Apart from CM Mann, 15 cabinet ministers from Punjab have also stepped up to campaign in Delhi. Many of them have already managed to balance their administrative duties with campaign responsibilities. Transport Minister Laljit Bhullar has been canvassing in Malviya Nagar, while Industry Minister Tarunpreet Singh Saund has started outreach efforts in various parts of Delhi. Furthermore, Finance Minister Harpal Cheema and Assembly Speaker Kultar Singh Sandhwan are also expected to launch their election campaigns shortly.

Highlighting Development Initiatives

AAP is leveraging its flagship schemes, such as free electricity and healthcare services, to connect with voters. After the success of providing free electricity in Delhi, the same scheme was introduced in Punjab, offering 300 units of free electricity per month. Similarly, Aam Aadmi Clinics were launched to provide free healthcare for the underprivileged. These initiatives are being showcased as significant achievements to win over voters in Delhi.

With 352 leaders actively involved, AAP’s Delhi campaign is in full swing. Additionally, CM Bhagwant Mann’s rally schedule is expected to be released soon, further boosting the party’s efforts.
