Bollywood actress Triptii Dimri has been in the spotlight this year! She played Ranbir Kapoor’s sister-in-law in Animal (2023) and was appreciated in Bad News alongside Vicky Kaushal and Ammy Virk. She also appeared with Rajkummar Rao in Vicky Vidya Ka Woh Wala Video and recently starred with Kartik Aaryan in Bhool Bhulaiyaa 3, a horror-comedy film that fans are loving.
In Vicky Vidya Ka Woh Wala Video, Triptii performed a dance number, Mere Mehboob, which garnered mixed reactions. While Rajkummar Rao’s energy was praised, Triptii faced significant online trolling for her dance moves.
Urfi Javed’s Critique
Urfi Javed recently took a jab at Triptii Dimri during an interview with Instant Bollywood. She acknowledged Triptii’s talent as an actress but criticized her dance performance. Urfi commented, “Triptii Dimri is a fantastic actress, but what she did in that song… Oh my God, such a talented actress, but she really messed it up there.”
Triptii’s Response to Trolls
In an earlier interview, Triptii responded to the trolling, saying, “I’ve said, ‘I want to try everything.’ But no one can excel at everything. What’s wrong with trying? You just have to give your best. While shooting, I didn’t realize how it would turn out.”
Triptii further shared, “This was my first dance number; I hadn’t done anything like it before. I didn’t expect the kind of response it received. But that’s okay—it happens to everyone. Some things people like, some they don’t. But that doesn’t mean you stop experimenting.”
