Bollywood actor Salman Khan has received another threat, with the person demanding Rs 5 crore, according to a police official on Tuesday. The threatening message was reportedly sent to the Mumbai traffic police helpline, where an officer saw it around midnight.
The message sender claimed to be the brother of gangster Lawrence Bishnoi. According to the message, “If Salman Khan wants to stay alive, he should go to our (Bishnoi community) temple and apologize or pay Rs 5 crore. If he does not do so, we will kill him; our gang is still active.”
Police are investigating the source of this message and have increased security for Salman Khan. Authorities are also probing whether the threat is connected to Lawrence Bishnoi, who is currently in jail facing multiple charges, including attempted murder and extortion.
