Chandigarh, Oct 29
Leader of Opposition in the Assembly Pratap Singh Bajwa said on Monday that CM Bhagwant Mann should think seriously about leaving the post of Chief Minister instead of leaving the post of party chief.
Bajwa said that Bhagwant Mann admitted that he did not concentrate on his work as CM for 2.5 years after assuming power. He did not do justice to the chair of CM, hence he has no right to continue on the post of Chief Minister of Punjab.
Law and order situation has collapsed- Bajwa
Senior Congress leaders said that the law and order situation has collapsed under Mann’s Home Ministry. Under his leadership, the financial condition of Punjab has been in ICU. The debt burden in Punjab is increasing rapidly and the outstanding debt is expected to reach Rs 3.74 lakh crore by the end of this financial year.
Bajwa said that due to the lax attitude of CM Mann, the paddy procurement crisis has shocked the farmers of Punjab. The agricultural economy of the state has suffered a lot. Under the AAP government, industries have moved to states like Uttar Pradesh.

CM Mann had given these indications
A few days ago, Chief Minister Bhagwant Mann had indicated that a big change was going to happen in the party soon. The Chief Minister had said that now the responsibility of the party should be given to a new face. Because being the Chief Minister, he has less time to look after the functioning of the party. That’s why party programs are lagging behind.
A big change can happen in Aam Aadmi Party any time after Diwali. The party can hand over the command of the state to Sunam MLA and Cabinet Minister Aman Arora. There was a discussion going on in the party for a long time to bring forward a Hindu face.
