Anil Vij Sparks Controversy Again: Shares Photo of CM Saini’s Close Associate, Questions Their Connection

Sharing is caring!

Haryana, February 3:

Senior Haryana minister Anil Vij has once again taken a stand against his own government. On Monday, he shared a photo on social media, raising serious questions. Vij alleged that Ashish Tayal, who claims to be a close friend of Chief Minister Nayab Singh Saini, was seen with his rival candidate, Chitra Sarwara, during the assembly elections. He further stated that Tayal still remains a trusted associate of CM Saini, leading to speculation about who orchestrated opposition against the BJP candidate.

Vij Continues to Criticize His Own Government

For the past four days, Anil Vij has been openly voicing his displeasure with the government. He has repeatedly questioned CM Nayab Singh Saini’s leadership and criticized the administration’s functioning in various media interactions.

Vij expressed frustration over being ignored within the government and claimed that his directives were not being followed. He continues to target CM Saini over these issues.

Threatened to Go on Hunger Strike

Earlier, Vij warned that if the situation did not improve, he might go on an indefinite hunger strike, similar to farmer leader Jagjit Singh Dallewal. He also announced that he would no longer attend grievance committee meetings after public hearings.

Taking a dig at CM Saini, Vij remarked that ever since he assumed office, he has been “riding on a high horse” and needs to step down to understand the people’s struggles.

Past Clashes Between Vij and CM Saini

This is not the first time Anil Vij and CM Nayab Singh Saini have been at odds. Even during Manohar Lal Khattar’s tenure as Haryana’s Chief Minister, tensions between the two were evident.

On March 12, 2024, when Khattar announced his resignation during a cabinet meeting and handed over responsibilities to Nayab Singh Saini, Vij walked out in protest. Later, CM Saini personally visited Vij’s residence to pacify him.

With Vij’s latest remarks, political tensions in Haryana have intensified once again.
