Modi government announced free toll plazas for three days against oppression of farmers

Jagrano, February 20, 2024-Today a joint meeting of farmers’ organizations of Jagrano tehsil was held at Shaheed Nachhatar Singh Dhaliwal memorial hall in Jagrano. In the meeting, gratitude was expressed for the support given by the people of the area, especially the shopkeepers, businessmen and managements of private schools during the Bharat Bandh of February 16.

Satisfaction was expressed on the good participation of all the farmers, laborers and employees organizations involved in the meeting, especially the participation of women.

At this time, Modi of the Center and Haryana’s Khattar government have strongly condemned the attitude of stalling and misrepresenting the issues being adopted for the farmers’ struggle. At this time, it was unanimously decided that from February 20 to February 22, Chokiman and Rakba toll plazas will be freed and three days of night dharnas will be held.

He said that the Modi government is confusing the demands by going beyond the real issues which will not be tolerated. He said that all organizations related to the front will participate in this action in large numbers.

In this meeting Balraj Singh Kotumra of Jamhuri Kisan Sabha, Gurmail Singh Rumi, District Secretary of Bharatiya Kisan Union Ekta Dakonda Inderjit Singh Dhaliwal, Joginder Singh Dhillon of Bharatiya Kisan Union Lakhowal, Leader of All India Kisan Sabha (1936) Chamkaur Singh Birmi, Charan Singh Sarabha, Gurdeep Singh Moti, All India Kisan Sabha (Hanan Mulla) leaders Nirmal Singh Dhaliwal and Jagdish Singh Kaunke were present.
