Will Lawrence contest elections from Baba Siddiqui’s seat? This party is preparing to fight, asked for nomination papers

Assembly elections are going to be held in Maharashtra next month. Before this election, once again the discussion on the name of jailed gangster Lawrence Bishnoi intensified. North Indian Vikas Sena, a political party registered with the Election Commission, demanded AB Form from the Returning Officer for filing a nomination on behalf of Lawrence Bishnoi. Let us tell you that the AB Form is an essential and formal document for filing a nomination. North Indian Vikas Sena leader Sunil Shukla wants to file a nomination on behalf of Lawrence Bishnoi from the West Bandra constituency. This constituency belonged to the late NCP leader Baba Siddiqui.

Demand for nomination papers for Lawrence Bishnoi
In the letter written to the returning officer, Sunil Shukla claimed that he would take the signature of Lawrence Bishnoi on the form. This is a necessary step to validate Bishnoi’s candidature. This was said a few days after Lawrence Bishnoi was offered a party ticket for the upcoming assembly elections. In the letter, the party also claimed that if Lawrence Bishnoi approves, he will soon release the list of 50 candidates.

Lawrence Bishnoi is currently lodged in Sabarmati jail in Gujarat. Recently, his name came into discussion in the case of the murder of NCP leader Baba Siddiqui and threatening Bollywood actor Salman Khan. West Bandra constituency has notable political importance. This was the constituency of Baba Siddiqui. North Indian Vikas Sena leader Sunil Shukla first went to Khar police station and then approached the returning officer to collect nomination papers in the name of Balkaran Brad. Lawrence Bishnoi’s real name is Balkaran Brad.

Elections will be held in a single phase
Elections for the 288-member Maharashtra Assembly will be held in a single phase on November 20, while counting of assembly election votes will take place on November 23. Let us tell you that in the 2019 assembly elections, BJP had got the maximum of 105 seats in the 288-member assembly. At the same time, BJP’s ally Shiv Sena had got 56 seats. On the other hand, NCP got 54 seats while its ally Congress got 44 seats.
