Attack Over House Inquiry
According to Anshu, a resident of Daddumajra, he was returning home around 11 PM after visiting the Rose Festival when he encountered a group of young men asking for the address of a particular house. When he informed them that he didn’t know, they attacked him with sticks.
Anshu immediately called his neighbor, Ramesh Kumar, for help, prompting the attackers to flee the scene.
Vandalism and Knife Attack
A short while later, the same group of youths returned, searching for a person named Aadi. Upon locating his house, they began smashing the windows of vehicles parked outside.
Hearing the commotion, Aadi stepped out of his house, only to be stabbed in the stomach by the assailants. When local residents came out to intervene, the attackers turned aggressive and attempted to assault them as well.
During the chaos, a dog started barking, and one of the attackers struck it with a sword.
Injured Man Hospitalized
As the disturbance escalated, more residents gathered, forcing the attackers to flee. The injured Aadi was rushed to GMSH-16 hospital, where doctors treated his wounds and administered multiple stitches.
