Trident Group Chairman, Shri Rajinder Gupta, recently attended the Invest Madhya Pradesh: Regional Industry Conclave held in Narmadapuram, Madhya Pradesh. During the event, Shri Gupta engaged in a significant one-on-one discussion with Madhya Pradesh Chief Minister, Dr. Mohan Yadav, to explore opportunities for investment and industrial expansion within the state’s textile sector.
While addressing attendees at the conclave, Shri Gupta expressed his gratitude to the Madhya Pradesh government and reflected on Trident Group’s impactful journey in the state. “We embarked on our Madhya Pradesh operations a few years ago with an investment of ₹5,000 crores. Today, our finished products from the state reach 122 countries, and demand continues to grow,” he remarked.
Looking to the future, Shri Gupta announced that Trident Group would invest an additional ₹3,000 crores in Madhya Pradesh’s textile sector. This new investment aims to increase the company’s local workforce from 12,000 to over 15,000 employees.
“Our commitment ensures that the benefits of our operations remain within Madhya Pradesh—from sourcing cotton to delivering finished goods. The state offers an ideal combination of sustainability, inclusive growth, and green energy potential, particularly in solar and wind energy development,” Shri Gupta added. He also highlighted Trident’s dedication to skill development and women empowerment, reserving 50% of new job opportunities for women.
Acknowledging the leadership of Chief Minister Dr. Mohan Yadav, Shri Gupta commended the government’s vision and its efforts to foster collaboration between intellectuals and industrial leaders. These initiatives have bolstered innovation and regional development, further positioning Madhya Pradesh as a destination for sustainable industrial growth and inclusive progress on a global scale.
