Ayodhya, January 11:

A grand three-day celebration commemorating the first anniversary of the installation of Ram Lalla at the Ram Janmabhoomi Temple began today, January 11. The occasion featured a ‘Mahabhishek’ ceremony of Ram Lalla at the temple. Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath is set to inaugurate the event today. Following the Mahabhishek, the CM will address the public from ‘Angad Tila.’

The event is expected to draw a significant number of saints, sages, and devotees. The temple trust and district administration have made extensive arrangements to accommodate the large crowds expected at the celebrations.

The festivities, running from January 11 to 13, will showcase prominent figures from the worlds of music and art.

As per an official statement released on Friday, Deputy Chief Ministers Brajesh Pathak and Keshav Prasad Maurya are also expected to participate in the event.

Ram Lalla was formally installed at the temple on January 22 of the previous year. The ‘Pratishtha Dwadashi Utsav’ will be observed on January 11 this year.

Temple Visit Passes Suspended for Three Days:

To manage the anticipated crowd, all temple visit passes will be suspended for the three-day duration of the event. In an effort to ensure widespread participation, Doordarshan will broadcast the event live, allowing devotees across the country to witness the grand celebrations.

In preparation for the first-anniversary celebrations, the temple premises have been adorned with over 50 quintals of flowers. VIP Gate 11 has been specially decorated, and other entry points have also been lavishly decorated. Additionally, the Municipal Corporation has been tasked with installing lighting on trees in anticipation of the event and the Mahakumbh.
