Modi Vows to Prevent Congress’s Alleged Agenda: Seeks 400-Plus Seats in Lok Sabha Elections

Sharing is caring!

Madhya Pradesh, May 7

In a fervent address at an election rally in Dhar, Madhya Pradesh, Prime Minister Narendra Modi launched a scathing attack on the Congress, asserting that the BJP-led NDA is striving for 400-plus seats in the upcoming Lok Sabha elections. Modi’s declaration aimed to thwart what he claims as Congress’s intentions to reinstate Article 370 in Jammu and Kashmir and impose a “Babri lock” on the Ram temple in Ayodhya.

Accusing the Congress of undermining the legacy of Babasaheb Ambedkar, Modi alleged that the opposition party seeks to diminish his role in drafting the Constitution. “The truth is that the Congress parivar deeply hates Dr. Babasaheb Ambedkar,” Modi proclaimed, condemning the Congress for allegedly spreading rumors about his intentions to amend the Constitution.

“It is important for the people of the country to know that the BJP-led NDA already has 400-plus seats in Parliament,” Modi emphasized, citing the coalition’s utilization of its parliamentary strength to revoke Article 370. He reiterated his ambition for 400 seats to prevent what he labeled as the Congress’s “dacoity” of the OBC quota to appease its vote bank.

Modi’s address further highlighted his government’s initiatives, including the extension of SC/ST quotas, the appointment of a tribal woman as the President, and the provision of reservations for women, all facilitated by the coalition’s parliamentary dominance.

Asserting his resolve to thwart alleged Congress machinations, Modi stressed the necessity of securing 400 seats to safeguard national interests, prevent land concessions, and preserve existing reservation quotas.

Reflecting on the electoral landscape, Modi expressed confidence in the BJP’s performance, claiming victories in the initial phases of the elections and predicting further defeats for the opposition in subsequent phases.

With the BJP fielding candidates like Savitri Thakur and Anita Nagar Singh Chauhan in key constituencies, the stage is set for a contentious fourth phase of polling on May 13.
