A major accident occurred in Mohali on Saturday evening. A five-storey building in Sohana, Mohali, has collapsed, causing chaos in the area. It is feared that several people may be trapped under the debris. Upon receiving the information, police and administrative officials rushed to the spot, and rescue operations are underway.
According to the latest information, basement construction work was ongoing adjacent to the collapsed building. Excavation for the basement reportedly weakened the foundation of the structure, leading to its sudden collapse. The building housed a gym. Initial reports suggest that 10 to 15 people are believed to be trapped under the rubble.
