Monalisa Bhosale, the 16-year-old who became an overnight internet sensation at the Maha Kumbh Mela in Prayagraj, has secured her first Bollywood film role. Monalisa, who quickly gained widespread attention due to her striking beauty, became the center of attention during the festival, with crowds flocking to take pictures and videos. The overwhelming demand for photos made it difficult for her to continue at the event, leading her father to send her back home. However, by then, her images and videos had already gone viral on social media platforms.
Now, Monalisa has officially signed up for her Bollywood debut in The Diary of Manipur. Renowned filmmaker Sanoj Mishra approached her for a role in his upcoming movie. To finalize the agreement, Mishra personally traveled to Indore, Madhya Pradesh, where Monalisa resides, and met her family. After discussions, she agreed to be part of the film.
Prior to filming, Monalisa will receive acting training in Mumbai to prepare for her role. It’s also reported that Amit Rao, actor Rajkummar Rao’s brother, will be featured alongside her in the movie.
