A shocking revelation has emerged in the case of Manvi Mittal (also known as Lipsi), who tragically lost her life while returning with her businessman husband, Anokh Mittal, in Ludhiana. Despite being in close proximity to his wife during her brutal murder, Anokh Mittal stood by, doing nothing, and calmly continued talking on the phone as he watched the horrific scene unfold.
The attackers initially struck Anokh with two to three blows, but when Lipsi exited the vehicle, the assailants immediately began attacking her relentlessly. Anokh, standing nearby, watched as his wife was assaulted, yet he remained passive throughout the ordeal.
At the hospital, Anokh could be seen weeping uncontrollably, lamenting the loss of his family and claiming that his life had been destroyed. No one suspected that this man, who appeared devastated, was actually the mastermind behind his wife’s murder. Meanwhile, Pratiksha, an accomplice in the crime, managed to deceive the police and the family by visiting Lipsi’s in-laws and offering condolences.
Earlier Attempts on Lipsi’s Life
Anokh’s obsession with marrying Pratiksha had driven him to concoct multiple plans to remove Lipsi from the picture. This was not the first time Anokh had schemed to kill his wife. Previously, he had attempted to have a worker at his shop carry out the murder, but the plan failed when the worker fled in fear. Anokh then attempted another plot, which also fell apart, but this time his plan succeeded, albeit with him getting trapped in his own scheme.

The chilling details of the crime reveal how Anokh attempted to orchestrate his plan. After dining at the V-Max restaurant near Dehlon Road, he stopped the car near the Dehlon bypass, claiming he needed to use the restroom. At that moment, Anokh was speaking on the phone, and after a brief stop, he proceeded to drive a little further before halting the car again, citing the same excuse. This brief window allowed the attackers to carry out their plan and flee the scene.
Digital Evidence Exposes the Truth
Investigators from the Commissionerate Police worked tirelessly to solve the case. During questioning, suspicions about Anokh grew, and when his phone was examined, it revealed conversations with Pratiksha on WhatsApp. This discovery led to the unraveling of the truth behind the murder plot.
