Sharing is caring!

Faridabad, March 4:

A shocking revelation has emerged regarding the arrest of 19-year-old Abdul Rehman from the Bans Road Pali area in Faridabad. According to intelligence agencies, the terrorist group ISIS-Khorasan had brainwashed him to carry out an attack on the Ram Temple in Ayodhya. This faction of ISIS operates primarily in Pakistan and Afghanistan and uses extremist propaganda to radicalize young individuals.

Brainwashing and Recruitment into the Terror Plot

Sources indicate that Abdul Rehman had been in contact with the terrorist group for several months. He was approached through social media and added to a private group where he was exposed to inflammatory videos and audio messages. These messages claimed that his community had suffered injustice in Ayodhya and that it was his duty to take revenge.

Reconnaissance of the Ram Temple and Terrorist Plans

Police investigations have revealed that Abdul, following instructions from ISIS, conducted reconnaissance of the Ram Temple and its surrounding areas. He recorded multiple videos and shared them with the terrorist organization. His mobile phone reportedly contains several such videos, confirming his deep involvement in the conspiracy.

Weapons Procurement for the Attack

According to intelligence sources, Abdul had been tasked with procuring hand grenades for the attack. He was waiting for further instructions from the terrorist group after securing the weapons. However, before he could proceed further, intelligence agencies and the Gujarat Anti-Terrorism Squad (ATS) intercepted the plot.

Faridabad’s Link to Terrorist Activities

Faridabad has previously been linked to terrorist activities, and once again, the city is in the spotlight. Following Abdul’s arrest, local residents expressed shock and concern. Investigations revealed that plainclothes officers had been monitoring the area for the past few days, searching for suspects.

On Sunday, police intensified their search, showing Abdul’s photo to locals and inquiring about his whereabouts. Moments later, when he was spotted walking nearby, police swiftly apprehended him. The area was immediately cordoned off, and no one was allowed to enter the vicinity.

Authorities are now expanding their investigation to identify other individuals involved in the plot and uncover any additional threats linked to the terrorist group.
