Washington, 20 February 2024- An Indian student Shreyas Reddy died in Ohio, USA. However, the information regarding where and how the death took place has not been revealed. Giving information about the death of Shreyas, the Indian Consulate in New York said that Shreyas Reddy Beniger was studying business. Saddened to hear the news of his demise. The matter is being investigated by the police. The parents of the slain student have also been contacted. This is the fourth case of death of an Indian student in the last one month. Before this, Neil Acharya, Vivek Saini and Akul Dhawan have died.
Eight people died during the shooting in Chicago, USA
Washington, February 20, 2024: Eight people died in the shootings that took place in three different houses in Chicago, USA. The shooting happened in the 2200 block of West Acres Road in Joliet, Illinois. The accused is absconding since this incident. He has been identified as Romeo Nance. Joliet Police Chief Bill Evans said seven people were killed in shootings at two separate homes.
Police are trying to find him. He added, ‘I have been in the police service for 29 years and this is one of the most painful crimes I have ever seen.’ The police department said the assailant was driving a red Toyota Camry and they have identified the suspect as a dangerous person. The police have sought help from the local people to identify the accused. Officials claimed that the accused knew the victims. The body of one of the dead was found in Will County.
