Amritsar (Punjab), December 26:
Bhavani Mishra, a sixth-grade student with a dream of becoming a Deputy Commissioner by clearing the civil services exam, was given the opportunity to serve as a one-day Deputy Commissioner by Amritsar’s DC, Mrs. Sakshi Sawhney. The journey began when Bhavani courageously contacted Mrs. Sawhney over the phone to express her aspiration. Recognizing her determination, Mrs. Sahni invited her to the office.
Upon arriving, Bhavani was seated in the Deputy Commissioner’s chair and officially declared a one-day Deputy Commissioner. Mrs. Sawhney explained the responsibilities of a DC, the importance of serving society, and the preparation, skills, and hard work needed to clear the civil services exam.
During her time, Bhavani also experienced significant activities such as attending meetings, video conferences, and understanding the daily functioning of the office. Mrs. Sawhney, who actively works to inspire and guide children toward fulfilling their dreams, motivated Bhavani to continue her efforts in education and hard work to achieve her goals.
This event not only inspired Bhavani but also set an example for other children, showing that with courage and consistent effort, every dream can be turned into reality.
