Actor Arjun Kapoor has stepped forward to offer assistance to 10-year-old Jaspreet Singh, whose story captured hearts after a video of him selling rolls in New Delhi went viral. The young boy, along with his sister Taranpreet Kaur, has been managing their late father’s food cart following his demise, drawing attention from various public figures including business tycoon Anand Mahindra, AAP MLA Jarnail Singh, and local BJP leader Rajiv Babbar.
Kapoor expressed admiration for Jaspreet’s resilience, commending his bravery in the face of adversity. Sharing a news report about Jaspreet on his Instagram Story, Kapoor pledged support for the youngster’s education, extending a helping hand to ensure a brighter future for him and his sister.
The viral video, initially shared by food vlogger Sarabjeet Singh, shed light on Jaspreet’s determination as he took on the responsibility of running the food cart alongside his 19-year-old cousin Gurmukh Singh following his father’s passing due to brain tuberculosis last month.
With Jaspreet and his sister under the care of their aunt while their mother has returned to her hometown in Punjab, Kapoor’s gesture adds to the growing wave of support for the young boy facing life’s challenges with a resilient spirit and a smile on his face.
